I’m really excited about this summer, and it has been pretty great so far. I’ve been very productive, and I plan on keeping it that way. I haven’t been blogging too much lately; part of the reason being that I want to do something different with my blog, as in I want to revamp it, basically. Anyway, I will be taking care of that, and I will be back to blogging periodically soon.
Not only have I been continuing to perfect and hone in on my writing craft, but I have also been getting back to improving my piano playing skills, the instrument in which I have played for some 15 years now. Oh, and thanks to my mom, I have been learning how to cook a nice variety of foods as well, including Tilapia with salted vegetables, delicious and home-made fruit smoothies, and omelets, amongst other things. I’m happy to say that it’s all coming pretty naturally to me. I’ll be on chef status soon. Oh, and what have I been reading? I bought The Complete Sherlock Holmes Volume 1 yesterday, which includes everything that the brilliant Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote, beginning with A Study in Scarlet, and ending with The Hound of Baskervilles, all passing through the second of the 4 novels, and through 23 of the 56 short stories portraying the beloved character and all of his pursuits. (You have NO idea how excited I am.) Volume 2 will be in my possession soon. I have also had the pleasure to view some pretty incredible films, including Marvel’s The Avengers (which I saw in 3D at Tinsel Town’s new XD theatre, for the opening, midnight premiere). It ruled. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. The Wooldridge Bros., the band that consists of my dad and my brothers and me, has been practicing for our 4th appearance at Abbey Road on the River. It’s been a lot of fun, and the shows will be a blast.
Now, I’m off to do the dishes before my folks get home. Have a good one, you all.
God is Love.

I often find, I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Like a broach, in the open for all to see;
But scratched or something, with its title hidden:
An emotion concealed, soon to be written
Expressively. In our minds should be colorful imagery
Reflecting, vividly, many joyous memories
That make us smile and make us laugh
And create excitement for those soon to be had.
Life is all that we make it to be.
Live and laugh and love; express and be free.
Plan on graduating? If so, keep at it, my friends. It is a lofty goal indeed.
